Given they had to hunt snakes and milk them to get past this illness we just had? Probably don't have much here but there's some docs around that might have gotten some.

So far mostly herbs. I've found arrowroot, garlic, scallions, a few others. It might be possible with some equipment to create some things, but that's a bit out of my realm of expertise.

What kind of illness was it? Do you have their names?

Anything that works along the same vein as laudanum. Pain killers.

Don't know what they're calling it. Just what I went through. Vomiting, stomach pains and body aches, hallucinations, fever. I was pretty sure I was going to die that day.

Niska and Beverly are both medical professionals. There's a lot of them that were running things at the clinic. Might try there.

No. I have basic CPR and first aid but that's more to do with more modern day and medicines.

In some ways, but then the snake venom helped so I don't know. Just glad to be well. Not one for being sick.

Well I’m glad it helped and that you’re okay. That would be great, I appreciate the offer. I acquired an injury on the way in, that’s why I’m looking for medication. The alcohol is a bonus. The stitches definitely need some cleaning.

I never thought about that. I’m still pretty new so I’m still trying to figure things out for myself. Maybe I can swing by the clinic and see what they need. I mostly asked for medication because I needed stitches when I got in.

There might be. But I'll keep you posted. I'm still in talks with someone who has access to alcohol for cleaning the crust off these stitches.

Hey, if I made it through your stitch-work then I’m sure I’ll be good for an hour or so on my own here. I’ll just you know keep laying around in bed and ponder the meaning of life.

If the hospital can't help, check the kitchen at the inn. Someone makes some moonshine and leaves it laying around.

It might eat through the stitches but will definitely disinfect.

You have to submerge the wound, so you don't have to re-enact your fountain entrance unless you want to.

It's a lot to take in all at once, and the hospital isn't going anywhere. Do you have people you know here to help you get settled in?

Not anyone I know personally, no. But I was lucky enough to befriend someone who's been helping to take care of me since coming out of the fountain.

Glad to hear it. So far everyone here has been really welcoming and friendly.
