Medieval, actually.

Mostly I find the things I learn about the future to be depressing. Chocolate and hot running water as well as most actual medical advances from my era are about the only exceptions to that.

Everything else has seemingly been done to reduce the value of craftsmanship and connection with one's fellow man.
