CW: mentions of suicidal ideation

[Anne stops in her tracks on the bath, listening to Venom, letting his words sink in. so sad he sometimes thought of not being alive.

She's so glad they're doing this by voice, and not by video; he can't see her expression as she goes through a few emotions. Overwhelming sadness that Eddie should be this bad off, anger at the situation that's put him into such a place, maybe even anger at herself but she knows - she objectively knows she shouldn't blame herself. She doesn't know the whole context; before he met Venom could be anywhere in the vicinity of forty-odd years.

Then, the unanswerable questions; how long has he felt like this? Has he ever tried - has he ever sought help - why hasn't he told her -

Venom will hear a breath in, the space of a few seconds, and a breath out, as Anne tries to recover and think about how to reply.]

People are deserving of their privacy. That's a big part of agency; getting to make that choice on whether or not to tell their own stories. Part of that has already been ripped away from us by what we've seen; you can't tell other people's stories because it's not your story.

Eddie ... Eddie needs help. He needs professional help, Venom, and that's not here so instead you're going to have to do the best you can. He needs to find someone he can talk to, at the very least.

[Please, not her, she wants to help but she wants to keep her distance and it certainly wouldn't aid things between them at all, not in the way Venom hopes.]

I can't be there fore him like I used to, so that's going to have to be up to you, can you do that, Venom?
