Yes, it's more or less the study of the chemicals in biology, in living forms.

How the body works and why it works that way.

Hematology is technically the study of blood, but it's not far from the fundamentals of biochem studying.

And honestly it's a skill that would've been handy in the past. [ might as well just learn it. it would take like 2 minutes if they had youtube >/!!! ]

In a pinch it'll have to do. The collection tube is probably the hardest part, this doesn't feel like a place that would have those.

Any medical salvage outside of a few first aid kids is at the hospital.

"What we need" is probably down in the bunker where our blood was.
