would you believe that as fucked up as this place is it's the nicest place i've ever been?

I can believe it, it's the same for me. I haven't really been able to say that out loud, it seems like the wrong thing, when other people are unhappy.

if we're clones it might not matter, but that doesn't mean i'm giving up. i've been here 94 days and counting.

Clones, huh. That's an interesting theory. Because we're from different time points and we know a version of us back there is still probably existing?

no because there's a computer full of lists of our names down in that bunker labeled "iterations." people think it means deaths.

i was in a place like this before. it's not that weird for death to be impermanent.

Iterations. [Pensive.] But could they clone someone and fundamentally change their DNA? Then again they've done that anyway. I don't have a second persona.

yeah they strip powers, replace em or give someone a brand new one. i think it's all to mess with our heads.

Maybe. Or maybe to see what we're capable of outside of our comfort zone. I haven't noticed any new powers.

usually they only show up when you're in actual danger. though from what i've seen not everyone gets something. i didn't have anything before and i got one, the two people who came with me had powers but they got swapped for one from this place. i can only tell you what i've seen, not what's gonna happen to you.

Oh, is he Buddhist? I spent some time with the monks, trying to get the green guy under control. Meditation's relaxing, I recommend it.

I'll look out for him. It doesn't always include tea. It's meant to calm the mind. Breathing exercises in general are good for the human mind in times of crisis.

after four months in silence even you wouldn't want to meditate.

I've spent four months in silence. Most of that was meditation. It's usually not a good idea for me to talk to people. Or used to.
