I'd love a radiation free planet. Before I ended up in the fountain, my friend found a planet for us. It had two suns.
We just wanted a home.

You deserved better from the humans in your world. You'll have it in this one.
This...place. Despite being strange is fertile. Do you have any experience with plants?

Thank you for saying that.
A little more than most people. My friend Monty farmed algae for us to eat while we were in space. I may have watched him a few times.

If you'd like to learn, I will teach you.
[He's not going to even make you swear to protect the green. You got screwed over enough in this multiverse.]

I'd like that a lot, actually. When my family and I get to where we're going, we're going to set up crops. If we get seeds...
Sorry. Right. Yes I would like that.

Alec Holland.
I'm a botanist and chemist by trade. I'll teach you by having you help me collect samples.

Nice to make your acquaintance.
Monty was very much into agriculture. His last name was even Green. Kind of funny.
I can collect samples, no problem.

Thanks. I don't think I have much to do so whenever.

That is the downside to this place. There is not a lot for people to do who are used to constant struggle.

When we escaped the nuclear meltdown the second time, we were stuck in space for six years, right? Nothing to do. There were old movies in some of the databases. Chess sets with scraps of metal for the bishops. I hope I don't go crazy here.
