Looks like there's something going around. I don't know if it's contagious or not, that's a job for the doctors and scientists among us, but seems like we'll all do better if we stay in touch.

If there are more people we can also take shifts and cover different areas. These comms should let us stay in contact with each other.

A rotation is a good idea. I'm sure there's something like that already in place, isn't there? Some sort of guard rotation to keep an eye out for anything that might come in from outside the villages?

Not a lot of people here trust each other. Some do but new people arrive every day and people vanish. It's hard to keep reforming bonds.
