Looks like there's something going around. I don't know if it's contagious or not, that's a job for the doctors and scientists among us, but seems like we'll all do better if we stay in touch.

Does everyone have someone who'll come looking if they go radio silent? If not, let me know. I'll keep eyes out. Maybe they'll even be my own.

Do you have any ideas yet about what it is? I've only heard about three or four people sick so far, but it already feels like a 'so far' is necessary.

A so far is necessary. It's contagious that much is clear, and since we have no specific ideas yet, it has the time to grow. I don't know that I would say I'm extremely worried quite yet, flus can transfer like this and can be naturally healed from. But if that doesn't happen, we don't have as many options for treatment.

What I am worried about is that nothing can be taken at face value in this situation we're in. This could be a natural cause, or it could be a test of some kind.

And without better diagnostic equipment, it's hard to tell. Not that that would help with the latter, either.

Is there anything I can get or do to help? I'm still figuring out things here, I don't have any commitments or obligations to get in the way. And someone has to keep you from doing everything yourself.

Beverly's been here longer than I have, and she's a professional doctor, so I'm working for her at this point. I think mostly just keep an eye for more people being sick and be ready to check yourself in if you get sick. And not be stubborn about it.

Who, me? Stubborn? Clearly you have me mistaken for someone else.

I'll keep both eyes out. I'll message Beverly, too, in case she needs anything, either. And I'll be stopping by anyway to make sure you both eat and sleep. Can't fix the world if you go down.

Speed is of the essence, these things can move fast, and yes, there is an advanced possibility the two of us get sick, and then we'd all be in serious trouble. But that's worst case scenario. We'll be okay.

I guess I've gotten used to expecting worst case scenarios the last few years. Hoping for the best is sort of a foreign concept these days.

I'll try not to worry too much. Might give myself wrinkles, and I don't want to get old before my time.

That's okay, I'll just pretend to be the optimist for once.

Think of it this way, no matter what you'll never be older than me. I already have the wrinkles and the gray hairs. You have a long way to go, kid.

I think his hair is longer than Thor's now, he got it cut as short as mine. Of course he looks amazing with it. Wanda's hair is this strawberry blonde color. Sam looks the same.

He figured anyone looking would be looking so hard at the rest of us they wouldn't even see him.

It helps being the less visible members of the team. Most people don't know me on sight and that's exactly what I want.

Sam seems like a great guy, I only exchanged a handful of words with him.

I'd joke that you don't know that as I haven't tried that hard with you, but I actually did, before that first time we met.

I really had no idea what was in store for us from there.
