I wouldn't be surprised if cutting them takes away their effectiveness entirely. It is worth trying, though. If it works, we can spread out that very precious resource and do a lot of good.

I hate to take that mindset, but it might be a good idea for now. We'll just have to hope that it isn't the worst case scenario when we get there.
