I take it Sgt Barnes is the same person who was immune to the infection. They mentioned fighting a wendigo.

Which is different than what I know to be a werewolf. Where I'm from, lycanthroy-w (the W is for wolf- there are other strains) is a relative of the rabies virus that mutated in natural therianthrope populations to spread to other mammals.

I helped deal with an outbreak in Australia.
