[Anne had never been the bleeding heart activist that Eddie was, but she wanted to pull her weight, and in a situation like this it was even more important for every person to contribute who could.]

Good evening, residents. My name is Anne Weying, for those of you I have not yet been introduced. I hope everyone is well.
I have a request and a proposition.
Request: Are there any woodworkers that could fashion me a full set of knitting needles? I've found a book in the schoolhouse that has some pretty detailed photos and size specs for reference. I can give more details upon interest, and I am willing to trade manual labor, or future knitted goods.
Proposition: If there are other fiber artists here, would there be any interest in a monthly meetup? There used to be a thing in my world called "Stitch And Bitch" where people would gather, knit and crochet, drink wine, and air their grievances about family, friends, and work. We could use it as a time to get to know each other, plan out our resources, and share ideas on how to best survive this place.
Private to Eddie
It's been a couple days since you stopped replying, is everything alright?

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it soon. You're more than welcome to practice here. Feel free to send me texts all day.
Knitting is taking yarn and stitching it back and forth between two needles to make fabric, like a sweater, or a scarf. Sometimes, more needles are used to make a circle, and then you can knit a tube, like a sock.
You are more than welcome to join our group, and I'd be happy to teach you anything you want to know.
Yours truly,
Anne

The pleasure is all mine, though I don't know if one could call this exchange meeting, exactly. But I suppose the sentiment can still be appreciated, even if an in-person meeting is not taking place.
I have worn sweaters and scarves before. They were very comfortable, but also very itchy. Are all sweaters and scarves so itchy? Despite their irritating nature, they provided me a great warmth, which was nice.
You are most kind. I will take you up on your offer. Please just alert me as to when and where your group will convene, and I will be sure to be there.
Sincerely: Thor Odinson

I'm sure we will cross paths soon. I can't imagine you would be easy to miss.
There are many reasons a knitted good can feel scratchy. Maybe the wool wasn't washed properly, or you could have a sensitivity. We'll test with different fivers and find one that words for you, how does that sound?
Your texting, by the way, is impeccable, however I do feel I should point out one tiny typo; there is no 'l' in my last name. Otherwise, very good!
I will keep you updated when we get the group together. Thank you for your interest, Thor!

I'M SO SORRY FOR MISSPELLING YOUR LAST NAME. I BELIEVE I HAVE CORRECTED IT NOW, THANK YOU FOR ALERTING ME.
That sounds very thought and considerate! I've never had an allergy to anything, but then again, I used to be a god, so many things have changed since then and since arriving here. Perhaps I will develop an allergy! I'm not sure if that is something to be excited for or not.
Thank you for assembling the group! It's very generous!

Allergies are generally not a good thing. You'll want to hope you remain allergy-free.
We'll figure it out, and find you the perfect fiber. There's nothing quite like the feel of a favored wool. I myself am quite partial to bamboo. It's very smooth, and light.
And you're welcome. It's a small community here, I wanted to do my part to help.

Thank you in advance for your willingness to help. I look forward to what you have to teach. I hope to be a good student!
