If there haven't been any records of anyone having children in this place then maybe it's something that just isn't possible? Which would then lead me to think back on something a friend said where we're all one big experiment and have been medically engineered in some way. Made up in some lab god only knows where.
Some of us have abilities tied in to the colors of our scrubs, right? How did we get these abilities? What's to say that they—whoever they are—haven't messed with us in other ways? We could all be sterile and not realize it.
