I can't believe I'm wilderness-splaining to a guy who spent time in both Brazil and Cambodia, but here we are. Moss doesn't always grow on the north side of trees, but it does most of the time, even here I've found. From what I've heard Jane saying in the inn, you can't depend on the stars, so don't try that one unless you've been doing a study of astronomy. If you're high up, take a winding path down - it's likely to be less treacherous in this weather. Make sure everyone in your group has a walking stick, even if they think they're a bad ass. You never know when you'll need it for balance or, ah, defense purposes.
