[She's already had some reports from others that Eddie and Venom were alright, but once they've gotten started down the mountain, with how cold it was, with the snow, and knowing Eddie wasn't a fan of camping in the first place, she wanted to check in.]
You ok?
You ok?

To go out and die but have everybody remember him.
It is selfish, to a degree. At least in Venom's mind. There's nothing noble in the other man's intentions. He wasn't trying to do it with a goal. Klyntar devoured planets because they had to.
Not because they wanted to.
They devoured because it was what they did. Eddie did not have to go to the life foundation. He did it because he wanted Anne to feel ashamed of leaving him. Because he wanted his network (whatever that was) to feel upset about him being right.
Things had changed. They had changed considerably.
He had been willing to give himself up to save the world. Venom it made sense. He liked the place.
He felt bad. That was what eddie had tried to describe to him, what he'd been learning about. He felt bad. they felt bad. His species could fill the nooks and crannies but Eddie kept them closed off.
He wanted to be sad.
Listening to Anne, Venom roars. It probably startles his group members but the symbiote can't deal it's all too much to cope with. There's so much in the creature's mind and he can't fix him.
There's a ten minute silence before venom messages her again.]
I will always be there for Eddie. He is my host. I love him. I will always love you, some part of me, for the time we shared because that is the emotion that it feels like when we are bonded. A host and symbiote.
here is the truth about your species however. If you do not, as Eddie would say, as his boss would say, as you would say, Get your shit together regarding emotions you will die. The aliens in our world out in the cosmos will devour your species. I despair of this happening - your species truly uniting - because you do not realize that you are stronger together. Then apart.
[The anger in the symbiote's voice is real.]
As long as you do not abandon him utterly I am content with anything you must do. Realize this. You two are more similar then you realize. I have access to 660 million years of alien memory. Distill it down? For all of your so-called strength, it takes just a small change for you and eddie to switch places.
For you and Foggy to switch places. For you and anyone here or there or or - you or any other human deemed different to switch places and none of you - none of your stupid confusing loser species - realize that!
...I'm tired!
I'm going to focus on getting these people home.
venom OUT.
[He saw that, on a TV show once. You end calls with "out" Venom wants to yell, to scream, for one horrifying moment his emotions are merged with Eddies and the creature wants to howl in fear and terror. Is this evolution? Where it could have taken them?
Of course.
Secure in his knowledge of himself, his place in the universe, his species, venom calms down. Unaware he's moving off in a real huff.]

Venom isn't exactly being discreet.
He doesn't give her a chance to respond, but she does anyway once the connection is cut;]
I'd never abandon him.
[Voice soft, but resolute, and apparently now for her ears only. It was exhausting, though, this whole conversation was exhausting, the truths he had leveled on her about Eddie's mental health were exhausting.
Anne Weying has never been faced with a challenge she couldn't surmount, but this ... this was starting to feel like a marathon she hadn't trained for.
Training or not, however, she'll find a way to make it to the finish line.]
