I had a wonderful and unexpected surprise in my house this morning! Several boxes full of supplies that I can use in the north village forge. I know Signore Tony and his companions are doing wonderful work in the south, so I will be working on other projects up here. If you have need of a blade inform me, it seems especially necessary after such an ordeal with people stranded in dangerous situations! If you have a blade but wish it to be sharpened or stronger, I can assist.

I am also working on patching up and upgrading the boats in the nearby water, I thought perhaps it would be helpful to have a stable boat to go to the intriguing pod that brings one to the underground area. If anyone is willing to donate wood to the cause I would be most appreciative!

I don't really like killing things. I am the absolute worst assassin. I mean I'm great at killing things, I just don't like it.

It's all about compartmentalization. It's easy if you let it be. Which I guess is the worst part.

I know, it's why they start us young. I've never had the stomach for it, but eventually I learned to. Then I lived through Altair, Ezio, and Connor's lives, and they all obviously were brutal killers, so I probably should be glazed over by now on it.

Oh yeah, I mean, it'd also be hilarious, at least with Bull. But smart move. He'll be alright, he's a genius. It's better in my time, but not as much as it should be. I lived in New York where it's pretty open, so I wasn't that worried about being openly bisexual, but other parts of the country, I'd probably keep my mouth shut.

Bull would be kind to him, and probably back down if he didn't get it at first. I mean, he had to be pretty blunt to get me to realize he wanted to sleep with me. But I'm not exactly that quick on the uptake sometimes.

It's not entirely in our favor. There are still people and places that will treat you bad for it. There are still people who get attacked for it. And it's not legal to wed. But I never cared as much about that because what were the chances I was going to settle down?

Just recently they started letting gay people have civil unions. Not the same thing technically as a marriage, so it sort of smacked as second class type of status, but maybe in the future it became legal. People were working toward that. We're also a country where people of different races couldn't get married until a few decades ago, so we really have some shitty behavior going on.

Listen, my flirting is tuned to spy operations. It's to flirting without too much investment there. And my hookups were a bit less... subtle in approach.

It's SO WEIRD. I cannot understand it at all. Race relations are so fucked up. So like 150 years ish ago, black people were slaves in our country. A civil war was fought over it, with people wanting to own other humans because they thought they were superior to them. But even after that happened, racism stuck around, and black people were segregated, forced to go to different schools, sit at the back of the bus or stand if a white person told them to, even drink from different water fountains. And the Civil Rights Act, they still couldn't marry between the races ... this was in the 60s so it's only been like 50 years ago this happened.

I mean I could tell you so much shit about my world and other countries that are worse. We have a whole lot of trash people.
