3 Things

1)I am - so sorry - to the ill fated members of the semi-Donner party that I ended up stuck on the mountain with. Karen and Bobo I dropped the fucking ball because of my jackass of a dad and my weirdly kleptomaniac childhood which! which I got over with the help of a shrink and therapy as an adult because I am not as emotionally stunted as my exES, employer, and everyone else I've ever met seems to think I am.

2) V and I need to burn off some steam. Stark I know you talked about maybe having something for V and I, honestly at this point we'll do anything anybody needs us to do short of robbery, maiming, or eating people as much as Venom might want to. Don't feed him. He's like a Gremlin. A sentient gremlin who probably has it's shit together more then me but he's also like a 5 year old who wants to eat dirt and we can't have that okay? Okay. Please I don't want to wake up tasting dirt again.

3) Something is...wrong. With my wrist band. And with Venom and I. See I should be feeling like shit logically. I know I should. Cause my dad is garbage and makes me want to curl up in a fetal position crying. Instead I feel like I'm about to go two-to-two with a guy on a gotcha interview and I've got real dirt on him that I dug up. Venom feels like he's a bad ass again and wants to fight.

It's probably nothing, but I figured I'd ask. Everybody cool?

I mean, what else is there to say? Foggy has little doubt; he would not be a good host.

"Bobo's good people, even if he keeps insisting that I'm precious and soft and going to be eaten alive by the world."

There are a lot of human beings who are like that. You are all far too focused on yourselves and you will all be killed by aliens eventually if you're not careful.

Point blank. Venom wipes Eddie's hands across his face and shrugs his shoulders despite being...blood covered.

None of you seem to understand that.

"We're very aware of what's out there. We've been invaded. The Chitauri invaded, led by Thor's... brother?" As far as he understood it.

Foggy is still not looking.

"No offence, Venom, but you haven't encountered most people. And Eddie is a chronically and severely depressed man who literally can't see a good side to things because he's under attack from his own brain. His subjectivity is going to affect how he views things. It does for all of us."

That is a new perspective. That doesn't make him less of a person. His brain annoys me but it makes me feel things too.

Humans are frustrating. I've thought of fixing his brain. Venom licks Eddie's fingers, hunting for more food, That was what my species was designed to do before we were ...corrupted.

Truth be told he's slightly afraid to try.

More organs. I'm going to find them.

"No, of course it doesn't. Mental illness doesn't invalidate a person. It just changes how they behave and think."

And there was a thought. An alien that could correct the hormones and chemicals, but not address the source. "It's good that you want to, but... the reason why his brain is like that would still be there.... oh. Um, okay. There's some brains, we had a bit of a surplus, would a couple of those be okay?"

That would be fine.

Venom is nothing if not kind He would be happier and be able to be focused more.

Don't fix my brain man. Please? I'm willing to eat brains, hell I'll own that I eat people, as...as horrific as that...as that is.

Lots of brains. If only my species had not been corrupted we could help him but now it feels...wrong. And invasive but also...wrong. Where are these brains?!

Cue an annoyed grunt.

"Hey, I only move so fast, don't be demanding, it's rude." Socialising Venom would be a slow process. Foggy points a finger at Eddie, thinking he should be way more freaked out by the blood but...

It's not Matt, lying in a growing pool of his own blood, so it's not that bad.

"But... it would be like if he got sick. And you kept stopping his fever, but he still had the virus. You'd be treating symptoms without actually fixing the problem, yeah?" He pulls three brains out of the tray and hopes it doesn't cause problems down the line that he's feeding them to Venom instead. "Here."

Yes. Eddie's hands grab for the first brain. Hands squeezing the gray matter.

Don't think about it, Don't think about it, Don't think about it...

It's delicious Eddie. You know it's delicious.

Teeth sink into gray matter and Eddie closes his eyes because...it does taste good and how somehow this kick in his personality is making him hungrier so...

This helps.

Aloud, Venom shakes his head.

...No. It would mean altering the brain chemicals. Human beings can't be so fundamentally broken. your species is strong.

wow. dunno if I feel insulted or what.

And venom speaks again. Aloud this time. Eddie don't be insulted. It is a compliment. You are not broken.

Foggy is again not watching. No, thank you.

"So, you can talk to Bobo, work out what would you help guys and what isn't already allocated for use here. I basically just do what I'm told, I don't know half what I need to to make those calls.

"And Venom's right. You're not broken. You're a survivor."

Eddie finishes it with a grunt, pressing a fist to his chest. Stifling a belch he shakes his head, "What do you mean you do what you're told? You've got your shit together."

He shakes his head.

"...Seriously. Don't sell yourself short."

"In the butcher's shop. Bobo's got systems, things worked out for who needs what and what can be used how. Stuff I have no idea about because I was just never interested in it back in the real world."
