[ As audio is enabled, there’s a lot of background noise. There’s the high pitched barking of a dog, there’s a chorus of what sounds like baby chicks cheeping. And then there’s her, groaning at the fact that now the once quiet home she shared with Ezio sounded like a mini zoo. Where did this puppy come from? And why in the hell did she get a box of baby chicks?
Everything else she’d found waiting for her with her name on the boxes, all of that she could use. Clothes, candles, the booze and playing cards. But damn—a dog and baby chicks? ]
So it seems like this house for two is now a house for nine. I guess I can work with a puppy, he’s cute, but six baby chicks? On the plus side, at least they’re all getting along. Who knew small animals came in boxes; is this normal?
—no, no no. No jumping. [ Oh dear. She sighs to herself. ]
Before I venture out into the snow, any idea if the Inn has a leash handy? I’ll need to work out food as well.
[ Though she’d rather not leave the house or her newly welcomed animal companions. ]

[ private to ezio ]
Hope the noise isn’t too much for you. I also hope you’re not allergic to dogs.

I have something for you. Has your name written all over it. Come by any time. Or I’ll come to you, since it’s suddenly a zoo here.

I don't think it does, but there is rope and stuff.

That would be great, thank you. I take it you also have a pet? Huh, I wouldn't have thought it was normal to get baby chicks too.
un: eden
[ Or turtles. ]

I just got back so sure, come on over whenever. I think I might still smell so let me clean up.
Private, voice
Sure. I’ll take my time heading over. I need to grab a leash on the way anyway.

[ She has to head over to Desmond's after, she's not unsure if he'll want a puppy in his space. ]

Hunting hawks are better still. Absolute truth and I'm sticking to it.

I'm sure they're good for their own reasons. I never had a use for hawks. I do remember some people I used to work with, they owned some.

Hawks are great for hunting. They're used a bit on Hyne, great for small game that has learned a lot about hiding from things human sized and bigger.

Okay, cool. [He sounds a little uncertain, since they've taken some space, but also pleased.]

Okay. Good. [ Uncertainty on his part. Awkwardness on hers. This should go over well.</small. ]

Hawks are definitely great for hunting. They were also used as messenger birds centuries ago.

Messengers? Yeah, on my world too. They're really great at avoiding monsters on my world, so they've survived.

They're pretty smart birds. Good survivalists.
