Jarvis, if you're reading this, some of that chicken noodle soup would be divine.
Or Howard. Send Ana, send anyone, so long as you send soup.

These sickness have a way of only effecting half of the village.
[ooc: want to move to action or handwave it?]
let's move to action!
Action
[Wanda arrives a Peggy's house about an hour later. She's carrying a medium size pot with Arado padding at her side. The puppy looks disgruntled but happy to have gotten invited along.
Balancing, she pushes open the front door and calls through the house.] Peggy? [After affirming that no one else seems to be home, Wanda begins searching for Peggy. She leaves the pot of stew in the kitchen but grabs a bowl and a spoon to bring with her as she steps through the house to try and find Peggy's room.
Wanda is currently working under the assumption that the woman is asleep but she continues to call out, just in case. She doesn't want to surprise her.]

In here. I hope you've brought a mask.
[ Because otherwise, Peggy's going to feel terribly guilty about constantly hacking up her lungs when a healthy person is here for her. ]
no subject
[If Peggy doesn't have a way of keeping the stew from going bad, then Wanda will likely take it to the inn where there is some electricity.]
Are you feeling any better?
no subject
[ She offers a smile to Wanda, reaching out to squeeze her hand gently when she's near, even though she remains a touch wary about getting anyone else sick. She turns her head to cough, wanting to avoid any contamination, giving Wanda a searching look. ]
What about the others? I'll feel better if I know they're all right.

I checked at the hospital. [She'd figured that Peggy would ask.] They aren't closer to a cure but Natasha is helping organizing parties to go out and take a look around the village to find the source of the disease and hopefully the cure.
It's just a matter of time.
[Time that Wanda hopes they have.]

[ Peggy shifts a little, sitting up in bed and trying not to feel the weariness take her down, giving Wanda a tired look, feeling as old as everyone keeps saying she is in the future. ]
I don't want to get you sick, but I wouldn't mind some company, if you'd like to stay and eat.
no subject
[Last time it'd been Beverly but Wanda hadn't gotten sick then.]
I'll go get myself some soup and some water for us both.

[ Down to her core, she still believes in the healing property of a good cuppa and right now, she's willing to believe that will make her feel far better than any drug (at least, until they find some drugs to help). ]

[Wanda raises from her seat and disappears from the room. She grabs herself a bowl of stew and then begins to make Peggy some tea. It takes her about ten minutes before she reappears with a bowl in one hand and a mug in the other.] Here's tea.
[She takes a seat at the end of the bed and begins to eat the bowl she's made for herself.]
What symptoms do you have?
no subject
Terrible fever and aches, and I feel very weak.
[ She doesn't want to complain entirely, so she tries to keep her tone light and brisk. ]
Often, there's a coughing fit that doubles me in half.
no subject
Do you see things? Like when you spoke about Howard and Jarvis?
[A beat.]
There was a sickness here before like that too. I think you were here then too. I thought that maybe it was the same thing as back then.
no subject
[ She knows that it sounds terrible and makes her sound incredibly weak and awful, but that's the truth. She stops thinking about it too hard and all of a sudden, everything starts to blur. She thinks it's a lot to do with Tony. It brings her back to another time. ]
I was tending to Stella that time. I didn't pay much mind to the symptoms.
[ Clearly, she should have. ]
no subject
[Wanda's expression is soft and understanding. She doesn't mean to push Peggy but any small amount of information might help them find a cure.]
Fever, hallucinations, weakness.
Does that sound right?
no subject
Unfortunately, it sounds completely accurate. What do you think is happening?
no subject
[It'd been when they found the lab back then.]
If we find its source, we can make a cure.
no subject
You'll be out there looking, yes?
[ She trusts Wanda, so she knows the other woman will be excellent when it comes to discovering something that will help everyone. ]
no subject
I will. I'll likely be leaving with Nat soon.
I've already spoken with her.
no subject
[ And honestly, between the two of them, Peggy truly feels there will be nothing to worry about, because they'll certainly be able to solve it and make sure everyone is healed. ]
And the food is appreciated as well. Lord knows I wouldn't be able to manage anything close.
no subject
[She pauses thoughtfully and places her bowl on the floor.]
I should head out soon and catch up with Natasha but is there anything else I can get for you?
no subject
[ Her smile is filled with appreciation, though, and she hopes Wanda understands how much she's done for Peggy. ]
Good luck out there. I do hope you find something before this gets worse.
no subject
And you just rest.
[Wanda smiles as she gathers up her bowl. She'll tidy up downstairs before leaving but she wants to give Peggy space to sleep.]
