Hey, this is Danny again.

The Dojo is almost ready for there to be lessons there regularly (House 54) for those interested in learning.

Try not to burn anything down. [Totally not speaking from personal experience.]

I need help making some wooden practice dummies.

So... would this dojo possibly be open to people just interested in practicing what they already know? If I can manage to find a proper piece of wood to work into a functional bo that is.

Yeah, it's open for everyone to use.

If you need equipment let me know, I can try and find it.

6 foot long rounded wooden staff, preferably oak, tapered at the ends. A basic tapered bo staff. Tambo would be nice too but I'll have to make those myself, or get them custom done seeing as you measure the length of them by the forearm of the wielder.

Wait, seriously? You're just about my favorite person right now, I feel naked unarmed. But, you know, any sort of long pole would do. I'm not that picky when it comes down to it.

I'm seeing that. Haven't headed out into the woods myself to try and find something, tend to have to work down from a tree itself, or a young sapling and... Anyway thanks. If you need help with anything other than building I'd be happy to return the favor.

I trained in a dojo when I was very young, would be happy to help set it up. Definitely looking for any help I can get regaining my balance.

As far as the dummies go, I know how to put them together but not sure how much of the actual wood working I can manage. I'm learning how to work with one arm, at the moment.
