So I've been wondering about something! IDK I thought maybe you guys might be able to help?? Since I'm 90% sure you're all much older than me. Does anything really change when you turn 17?? Like I know I'm closer to legally being an adult... in the United States in my version of reality. TBH, I feel like that already happened back in that other place. I learned to hunt, how to make sure people tinier than me didn't starve to death or something else super awful, how to make sure the total strangers I lived with didn't kill each other and the rest of the community (harder than you think!), and stuff like that. For some reason the horrible stuff seems more adult. Learning how to knit didn't make me feel like a grown up. Weird.

I'm so off topic. Anyways! What else is there???? There's gotta be something, right???

...I don't think it's weird at all

...I always wanted to protect the planet. I just never figured I'd ...be the planet. There are two things we can do when replanted in new soil. Grow, or wither. I have been blessed enough to know enough love to encourage me to keep growing.

And I can only hope. Wish. That you know the same. Whatever you must embrace in your life that makes you different. find those who love you and stay with them.

I think I already have. I'm kind of lucky that way. There are people that have seen what makes me different and they don't hate me for it. I'm glad it's the same for you since I think we're kind of alike that way too except I wanted to protect the planet and all the people living on it. I just... didn't realize that's why I kept looking up, you know? At the people already doing that.

It's kind of funny how things work out, huh?

I want to tell you a story about a great man. When I first got my powers I went looking for a man called superman from my world. Superman is the most powerful hero on our planet. He can fly. He's invulnerable. There's no...logical reason for him to want to protect people at all.

I went looking for him because there's no logical reason for me to want to help people out either. The green...leeches at humanity. It consumes humanity. It wants to survive. I sought out Superman. I thought he could give me a reason to remember being human.

He did. He told me that it was our responsibility as people with powers to find others. That we should seek them out and see if we could help people.

...I was in a dark place. I was close to losing my humanity completely. My wife had just become the avatar of death. I had given up my humanity for the last time. But I sought out others.

What I'm saying is...never be ashamed of what you use to keep you human. If you had powers.

I would say it's okay to look up to people with powers, but never be afraid of reaching out either.

He sounds amazing. I'm glad you found him. I don't really get what the avatar of death would look like, but that must be something difficult, right?

I'll remember that. I am guilty of just looking and not saying anything to them. I guess I always felt unworthy? I'm just a dumb kid and they saved the world a billion times. What can I have to say that's worth their time?

But, if someone like that could have compassion for you than maybe I should when I feel like I'm not in a great place.

Know only you shouldn't be afraid of her. Or me. All the kingdoms are in competition with each other but they let humans control them.
