So I've been wondering about something! IDK I thought maybe you guys might be able to help?? Since I'm 90% sure you're all much older than me. Does anything really change when you turn 17?? Like I know I'm closer to legally being an adult... in the United States in my version of reality. TBH, I feel like that already happened back in that other place. I learned to hunt, how to make sure people tinier than me didn't starve to death or something else super awful, how to make sure the total strangers I lived with didn't kill each other and the rest of the community (harder than you think!), and stuff like that. For some reason the horrible stuff seems more adult. Learning how to knit didn't make me feel like a grown up. Weird.

I'm so off topic. Anyways! What else is there???? There's gotta be something, right???

Right now? I'm thinking it's a Sunday and I haven't been to church in... a few Sundays now. I'm thinking it's getting colder and there's no heating in this house, which I couldn't afford back home anyway but Elektra's going to be uncomfortable. I'm thinking I should learn to cook but don't know where to start. [Not that he couldn't before, but cooking completely blind is another challenge entirely.]

I'm thinking I would have liked to spend Christmas with family for the first time. But they're not here right now.

Yeah I miss going to my mosque. I pray at home, but it's not the same.

At least she's not living with strangers who look into her soul or threaten to tear off people's arms anymore.] You're not taking anything away if we give you some pointers on how to cook, keep your house warm, and maybe spend Christmas with you? Speaking as probably the only Muslim here, practicing your faith alone is super lonely. We can support you for a day!

[Contrary to people who preach divisive doctrines, Matt has some very bizarre idea of acceptance and love that involves, you know, accepting and loving his neighbour regardless of what kind of religious building she goes to.]
