So I've been wondering about something! IDK I thought maybe you guys might be able to help?? Since I'm 90% sure you're all much older than me. Does anything really change when you turn 17?? Like I know I'm closer to legally being an adult... in the United States in my version of reality. TBH, I feel like that already happened back in that other place. I learned to hunt, how to make sure people tinier than me didn't starve to death or something else super awful, how to make sure the total strangers I lived with didn't kill each other and the rest of the community (harder than you think!), and stuff like that. For some reason the horrible stuff seems more adult. Learning how to knit didn't make me feel like a grown up. Weird.

I'm so off topic. Anyways! What else is there???? There's gotta be something, right???

Oh yeah the crazy stuff is still crazy, but we don't freak out about the different people so still a big win.

There are very few people who are from normal places from what I can tell. Normal meaning nothing supernatural or violent. Maybe because we're better suited to living in a state of uncertainty.

Maybe. I just know that I'm super relieved no one is trying to go after people like her. I don't know about your Earth, but on mine people have been trying to wipe out people like mutants for ages just because when they hit puberty, they get powers or steal Inhumans before they can emerge from their cocoons. (Long story.) It's actually really upsetting to me so this change of pace is really awesome.

Tommy told me a little bit about that, about how they were treated. It's completely unacceptable and unjust. I can't say I'm surprised as I've been hunted all this time for a similar reason, but on this big of a scale, it's horrible.

It really is. That's why I'm actually super quiet about the whole powers thing back home and here. Everyone has been super cool so far, but I don't want to get Frank killed because someone hates what I am. People can come at me all they want, but he's been hurt enough. That's just the reality of being what we are, I guess?

Whether they call one of us a mutant, experiment, weapon, Inhuman, or whatever, it means the same thing. We have a target on our backs. It's not right, but that's a part of our lives now.

That's not going to happen here, Kamala. If anyone tried, they'd get one hell of a response. Not giant rage monster level, but pretty high. I do understand though. It's why I stayed away from my ex back home. She ended up making a good life for herself though, I think. Sometimes you have to put other people over you, but we're all on the same page here.

I'm glad she had a good life even if you weren't a part of it. And I know you're right. I'm just scared for him. So many bad things happened to Frank in Reims. Is it wrong I want to be the one to protect him now? Even if it's just from people being bigots about my deal.

I'm glad she did too. Kamala, nothing bad is going to happen to Frank because of you. No one here would allow anything bad to happen to either of you. You have all the backup you could ask for here. I may not be the Hulk anymore so I can't get big to protect either of you, but I'd fight anyway.
