Hello you lot! I got several decks of our favorite card game Wicked Grace from our mysterious benefactors. I've been teaching a few others already, but I'm opening it up. Bull recommended strip Wicked Grace since we have no coin, but that is not a requirement, I'll think of something else we can use for betting. Get your bluff faces ready.

I'll have to see if I can find it all again. We used make-shift chips the last time. Little cut out squares of fleece in different colors. It was the closest we had at the time.

I assume there will be a sort of lesson for those who aren't used to playing?

Of course! If you have a good bluff face I'd get practicing. It requires a lot of that.

Yeah, I think it's an our world only game, which is a right shame as it's the best. Quite complicated, but wonderful once you've got a knack for it.

Maybe they'll bring you one! That's what happened for me.

I can definitely handle complicated. Also totally ignore the chips if that's what you prefer.

I've seen the box size they send. I'd need that stuffed to the brim with the cards, and markers for elemental spaces, and of course colored chips for sides... None of the face cards. Because of my house mates.

[Rinoa might not want reminded why she was famous enough to be on a card, definitely would hurt over having Squall's card. And Seifer's ego...

Oh, and throw in how Nida would be the only one from his world who ended up here who wouldn't be on a card. Ouch.]

They might still do that! I got two knives, my bow (in bits), and the decks, so it's possible.

I just have to wonder over the why of them doing it, you know? Is this 'Wicked Grace' so interesting that they'd bring us all the way here to watch people play it mostly naked?

Special abilities. Supernatural abilities. We apparently all have them, and someone speculated it is related to the color we were brought in on.

"Speh... speck... Everyone around here speaks so damn fancy, I swear the future is just all kinds of professors and educated folk like Goodie. Almost makes me miss the bastard." Except his tone turns sad at that, missing him more than he cares to admit, if he's honest. Which he doesn't want to be.

Also, I have tested it and I need to be touching someone else, and it drains them? Like it made Cougar tired but we didn't push it.
