Death happens. Weather by illness, age, or violence, everything dies eventually. What does it matter if the blade was held by friend or foe?

It matters. A lot.

It is not as though you would be able to confront them after the fact.

The issue is that they can confront them here.

The question is, then, should they? Is it worth anything? Would it solve anything?

It might clear up the air? It could potentially solve something. If they laid out all their cards on the table, communicated, they could work something out. Who knows.

If it is something that must be discussed, they should discuss it. But problems that resulted in death generally are not easily mended by talking in my experience.

I imagine they wouldn’t be. Unfortunately. Talking can’t solve everything, as much as I wish it would.
