Two things this evening for discussion.

First: It seems there is a new strangeness with the devices and I believe a frank and open discussion my be required. My wrist device seems to have changed from the usual blue which matched my arrival scrubs and to yellow. Furthermore I have not been able to access my previous guidance power. I have not attempted yet to see if I would be able to access the ability associated with yellow, but I believe a discussion may be warranted on this situation.


Second: Considering the loss of my guidance ability, I am not prepared to go through the forests alone to Watney's farming project where I was taken from. I had delayed my departure due to adjusting to the acquisition of a power from machine in the Bunker, but since then I have found myself in possession of some additional equipment.

Would there possibly be a party able to assist me in heading south with the gear? The sooner the better?

Mine sort of is the same. The further south you go the warmer it gets.

I know the plant life is different here. I was trying to find stingberries earlier to try and make a poultice and had to make do with onion.

The biome is very different. But some staples seem the same. I heard talk of wheat.

Then I should be able to get some basic herbs, at least. I'd ask about working swaps but I doubt anyone will know what I'm talking about anyway.

If you're talking about planting things, I might go just to see what I could get to grow here.

Go to the schoolhouse. That will have information. There are many guides. And see if you can speak to Mister Watney. He's our resident Botanist.
