Hey guys. Anyone need verbal walkthrough on setting up a tent, finding a good camp sight, finding water or any of that? I won't be as useful in some terrains but I know how to handle plains, forests and mountains.

Also we really should be doing more general survival classes for EVERYONE.

Please tell me you were smart enough not to look for the person the message told you to, unlike me.

If not, are you okay? Remember to find a source of water earlier rather than later. Absolutely take the effort to get the tent set up. I don't know if the others ever explained it while you were on the save the world thing, but it's important to preserve body heat and the primary place where you lose it is through the ground. So use the sleeping bag.

You okay, B? If you're out there remember to do what you can to keep your green powers up, for safety. First chance you get, take whatever tool you have to cut a FRESH branch, cut off extra twigs and stuff sticking off. It's something.

I've got other survival tips but I don't know what to tell you. Have you ever been camping before?

Yeah, I'm okay. I'm out...god, I don't even know where. In a forest, definitely not near the villages. It's okay, though. I'm fine. Agent Carter's here with me. We've got all these supplies, so it's something, and after we got back from the mountain I borrowed every book the schoolhouse had on camping and survival--

Yeah, Peggy's pretty competent from what I've seen of her. You should be okay.

I'd be better if I knew how Seifer was. Or was there with you. But you've got to do what you have to do. Please stay safe. Contact me regularly? I know I'm going to worry. Even if you had your magic I'd worry.

I know. Have you heard from anyone about him? I called Tommy, he's still back in the village, I can have him go check the house to see if Seifer's still back there, too. Who are you with? Make sure you stay careful, I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you.

I'm with Hawke. I'm so not worried. Hawke and me, on a mountain? I'm in my element. It's pretty thrilling. Now that I know you're okay for right now. Besides, I'm green again. I'll be okay.

I'm way cooler than cool. I'll be okay, Nida, I swear. I've been doing a lot of foraging already, I know how to get a fire started and how to get a tent set up. I might be a city kid, but I've been learning. No damsels here.

I don't think you're a damsel, but from what you've told me about your city life, I didn't know if you knew this.

I didn't know, before. I wasn't exactly the Boy Scout type. But I've been doing a lot of studying since we got here. Might be uncomfortable, but I'll live. What kind of place are you guys in?

Mountain top. Intending to head down to a point just above the treeline. Have to collect goldbells. Which of course worries me.

Yeah. We're doing zoom seeds, Tommy's thrilled. I had to promise to bring him some, and let me tell you that's gonna be fun.

Watch out for puffballs on your way down. They're big brown mushrooms, look like inflated balloons. The spores are deadly. Did you finish those foraging books I gave you last month? I know you've got Hawke, and if your bag is like ours you've got food, just...you know.

[Good thing Billy's not ACTUALLY going to be able to bring Tommy zoom seeds. But he will know where they can go to acquire some]

I did finish some of them. Seifer did the mushroom one actually. I think he's going to try and sneak some into our meals. I've read the town records fully though.

Thing is, Hawke doesn't have a bow on her, so that's going to minimize some of our hunting.

Good. That should help some. Sucks about the bow, I guess they didn't want us to have it too easy. They even took the one knife I had.

If you want, I can send you photos of stuff that's safe to eat?

I don't have any of my weapons, and I had three on me before knives.

That's appreciated, Billy. But if we're in different sorts of areas it might not apply.

You're right. It might not. Just...sorry. I'm just worried. I don't like being this far from home. From Tommy, or from you. It kind of sucks.

It does, Billy. I know it, this is sorta driving me mad. But save your concern for your brother. For Seifer. For other people.

This right here? Literally what I was trained to do. With less monsters. Sure, I don't have magic to call back on, but I've had time to adjust to that, you know? Have faith in me, like I have in you.
