[Voice] UN: alistair
[Just voice today - quiet and subdued.]
So, um.
For any of you who don't know. Zevran's gone. It's... been a few days now.
He's been quiet for a while, I just.
....Yeah.
Anyway, sorry for the... the bad news.

UN: RankA
[Not promising that will happen with Zevran, but, well... There's always that chance.]
UN: alistair
I'll be all right. I'd just. Gotten used to him being around is all.
no subject
Even if he wasn't your Zevran, he was your friend. I was fond of him too, even though we didn't interact much. I'm really sorry about this. Is there anything I can do to help?
no subject
[To a world that was better than his? Absolutely.]
Anyway. He's fine. And now he doesn't have to worry about those...
That terrifying... whatever it was that Pepper and I saw. He just has the normal things to worry about. Like werewolves. And dragons.
no subject
[And in a smaller, momentarily pained voice] You can trust me on that one.
Dude, dragons are NEVER cool to worry about. Nearly been eaten by them a few times.
no subject
One time you said you wanted to talk about worlds. Want to see my dragon scars sometime? One chewed on me.
[Subject change a-go-go. It was better than talking about losing the first friend he ever had.]
no subject
Yeah, same here. But from what Bull told me, they're bigger on your world, so my scars won't be as impressive.

[What the actual fuck? There is shock and awe in Nida's voice. How could there not be when Phoenix is one of the greatest of the GFs, a beneficent spirit on their world that can bring you back from the edge just with a feather left behind from it. He'd seen it once, and it was absolutely beautiful.]
Wait, you HUNT Phoenixes?!
no subject
I saw one person who ate them. After they died. It was horrid.
no subject
It is beauty and freedom. And it smells like fire and dew. It's magic itself.
UN: Reeve T.
Which house are you in? I'm making you some dinner. Do you have a pot in your kitchen? Never mind, I'll bring one. I still have a box I can put ingredients in to carry over from the storehouse.
[He mumbles almost under his breath, but the device does catch it as he starts piling necessities together.]
I hope I remember the recipe. Mother was always so vague about proportions. Do we even have leeks?
UN: alistair
...Reeve? I promise I'm eating. I'm in forty-three-- Look, Reeve, honestly, you're--
[A pause. A heavy sigh.]
You don't have to. I'm okay, honestly.
[It probably says something about Alistair that 'I'm okay' is a lie that comes out smoothly.]
Re: UN: alistair
My mother always made this thing that she called Home Broth whenever I was sad or hurt. You're getting a full pot of it. Worst comes to worst, it will feed you a few days, and you can share it with Leonardo when he comes over.
[Because he will be going over. Leonardo will get harassed by Reeve to go over if nothing else.]
no subject
At least let me help you get over here. No offense but you don't exactly sound... steady on your feet, so I'm betting you saw something wild when you were zapped off, too.
no subject
Oh and if you're home, check for a pot in the kitchen. I need to figure if I need to bring this one. And I'll bring boxes, so we can move the produce. And we'll stop by the butcher to see if there is any meat we can use.
[He cares about people, Alistair. You won't get him off this tear.]
no subject
We'll talk about it when I see you. I know we-- I. I have a pot. Zev cooked. Anyway, I'll be there in a few minutes. If it was...
What I'm trying to say is... I'm working on a cart. We're just a little too early for it to be done. Yes, though. I'll... I'll be there soon.
no subject
I know you were working on a cart my friend. It's alright.
[Things will be slowed down. And Reeve respects that. He's more concerned for his friend.]
It may take me a bit longer to get there.
no subject
Would that help?
[It's a quiet offer, but an offer anyway.]
no subject
If nothing else, I think we could both do with the company.
no subject
[And that was probably as much of a concession as Reeve was going to get.]
I'm heading out now. See you in a bit.
no subject
I will see you soon my friend. I'm sure you're going to love this meal so much you'll ask me to cook again.

Voice; UN: Leo
I am very sorry to hear that, mio caro.
no subject
[He fell quiet. He knew he wasn't lying. He knew he'd be okay. He just also knew that, for all his claims otherwise, at the moment, he wasn't. But he couldn't let that show. So what he said was:]
I'll be all right.
