If anyone has a few hours free, I could use a set of strong arms to help me move my things back to the inn. There's quite a bit now, especially with recent events and I'd like to be done all at once.

I'm sure I can dig up something to offer as payment.

I'd very much appreciate it. If you have any boxes to spare, bring those too. I seem to have accumulated quite a bit in the last year and change, which is all the more reason to get out before it can weigh me down.

I've acquired only one. The top flaps were cut off so I could make a firm writing surface, but it can still offer that. It's about a foot square, not as high, though. Sorry.

It's all right. We might just need to make a few more trips. I'm in one of the main houses, with a blue door. I'll wait on the porch for you, even.

According to my notes, there are two houses with blue doors, if you discount those with blue trims. Do you mean beyond the town hall or near the granary?

It's more of a sea-like blue, I suppose. Sea green, white trim? It's behind the inn, so it shouldn't be too far of a trip.

Despite his own failing mood, Jacob pulls on his jacket and tugs his hood up over his head and heads out for Peggy's place. He's not sure what he's going to do with himself with Evie seemingly gone, but he's not willing to hold himself back. He's spent two days looking for her, and he won't stop, but he needs to keep his connection to this village and the people here. For his own sanity, if nothing else.

So he pauses at the door, rapping on it lightly.

Peggy's been in a terrible mood, though she's not so sure it shows beyond her exhaustion. It's no surprise that Stella is gone, if she's truly honest. It had been good for a very long time, but in the end, it seems that everyone apart from herself and Mark simply leave. It's something she means to discuss with the other man to see what theory he might have, but it's not something she's been able to broach.

Jacob is far too new for him to lay her issues on, but she's appreciative of the help. Opening the door, she goes right back to packing. "Careful of the door, I've moved a few plants in here and I don't want them to chill."

What do you mean, "the inevitable?" I can throw my jacket on and be there in a matter of minutes. I'm not as fast as I used to be when I had Mjolnir to fly me through the skies, but I am still quick at walking normally due to my large gait.

I'm afraid that I no longer have a roommate, so I'm going to move back to the inn before I allow myself to wallow in that for very long.

[ she would happily help with that, but she wants to make sure peggy has a decent spot to live and help with any emotional stress she might be feeling. it's hard losing a friend and this is definitely a friend they shared. ]

At this point, getting situated at the inn is all I can focus on. I'm sure I'll deal with my grief later.
