I'm not sure if this is a sign from whatever fuckers are up there that they don't like my lack of shaving, but I got a box of razors and shaving cream. I guess if you want one come ask, and if we run out people can share.

I guess since I'm here, I know some of us are dead in our world, not sure if people are handling it well or care or whatever, but maybe people who want to talk about it could meet up.

Yeah. His full designation is Artificial Intelligence Fragment Theta, but of course we only called him Theta. He wants me to say hi to you Desmond. That he likes your sentence structure too.

That's cool. I've never met an AI. What's with the fragment part? Aren't they usually whole?

Yeah, they are usually whole. Theta and his siblings aren't, though. They were fragmented from a full and true Smart AI. But he's still his own person. Sort of like... multiple personalities. Of which Theta was one.

Oh. Huh. So the AI wealth could be spread around?

That was the unfortunate intention. And execution basically amounted to mental torture.

Yeah. It was. The guy who did it was a real peace of work that effectively ruined my life and the lives of those important to me.

All in the name of survival.

Yeah it smacked of that kind of narcissism. Survival from what?

The destruction of our entire species.

He was trying to find a way to make sure we won a war for Humanity's sake.

Depends on what the 'it' is. The war is over, but not through any specific actions of the organization that was responsible for me. A different program handled it, and handled it well. But really, SPARTANs had been working at it long enough.

So it didn't work and all he did was fuck up a lot of people.

Not a lot of people, but yes, that's a rather accurate statement.

I know a few people who he'd get along with great.

I'd rather the Director not get along with anyone.

From my understanding, it was his behavior that got me killed.
