I'm not sure if this is a sign from whatever fuckers are up there that they don't like my lack of shaving, but I got a box of razors and shaving cream. I guess if you want one come ask, and if we run out people can share.

I guess since I'm here, I know some of us are dead in our world, not sure if people are handling it well or care or whatever, but maybe people who want to talk about it could meet up.

Yeah, they're good genes. World saving genes too, so there's that.

It depends on how long it takes to move on from their ex. I mean if it was serious, it might be awhile. You've only been here a few months, if he's still hung up on the other guy, you might have to wait a few more. You don't really want to date a guy who is still in love with someone else, you know? It might not seem like a big deal now, but it could be later.

They were serious. Really serious. He's been here longer than us, and I think it had happened a bit before he arrived here but... Yeah.

Thanks, Desmond. I don't think anyone else would have pointed this out to me. Maybe that's why he said he needs some time.

Oh, yeah, if he said that, give it to him. It sounds like he's a good guy, and if he's a good guy, he's probably making sure he's not making you a rebound either. I know when you have strong feelings for someone it's hard to be rational and patient, but it really will be for the best if he gets past it and you two can have a fresh start together.

I intended to give it to him. I pretty much told him that he can take all the time he wants and I'll be there as his friend. But all the affectionate stuff, that sorta can't keep going. Cuddling up with him was probably not appropriate.

Yeah, it probably doesn't help him sort out his feelings and if he's ready for more of that intimacy. I think you've got a good shot though if he doesn't mind all the affectionate stuff already.

Actually... I don't think it's affecting him as much as it is me. I'm the one that asked for that stuff to stop.

Not that either of us are good at it with the situations we've gone through recently.

That's a good idea. Boundaries until he figures out what he wants to do. Totally reasonable. I'm sure it'll all figure itself out eventually. You're hot and cool, he'll say to hell with it. Just hope that his ex doesn't show up.

[Yeah, no, definitely hope Teddy doesn't show up. Because man would that be awkward. Especially if he's not from the same point in time.]

I hope he puts a bit more thought into it than just 'to hell with it'
