[Hi, villagers. Here on your screens is one Natasha Romanoff, hair tied back from her face, still looking a little worn out but finally rested again after sleeping for nearly 24 hours.]

So. It's been about two weeks since our unexpected little hiking trip, the weather sucks, and since I don't think group therapy would go over well here, I'm offering another option for those of you looking for a little distraction.

[The video pans from Natasha's face over to a small bookshelf, where the brightly-colored spines of twelve hefty mass-market paperbacks can be seen. The titles are all fairly innocuous, and they all seem to be part of the same series, being labeled by month at the top of the spine.]

Whoever's running this place has seen fit to send me a small part of my library from back home. They aren't much, but in my experience there's very little a trashy romance novel can't cure. I'm willing to loan them out if anyone's looking for something to read that isn't an informational guidebook or how-to.

Of course, that's with an oath to bring them back in the same condition they were loaned out in.

Really? I've heard that's been happening, I guess I've been lucky so far.

I'm too forward. As an executive and politician of sorts it's easy to imagine I hold back a lot.

So you're not used to being so outgoing and chatty. I understand. I'm sorry it's an uncomfortable feeling for you. I have to wonder why so many people seem to be going through these changes, though.

I'm outgoing enough. Just restrained.

Our overlords are rude?

That, too. But I doubt it's just to make us feel uncomfortable. In my experience, you spend this much time and these many resources on a project, it isn't just for laughs.

My concern as well. I suppose that makes me support staff to whatever people like you are to be used for.

Competent people not made to sit behind desks all day.

That's a very polite way to put it.

You aren't wrong. I can do the paperwork if it's necessary but I've always been better at the parts that involve a little more active involvement.

It takes all kinds. And speaking of all kinds being needed, I need to get packed up.

Of course. Swing by for the book before you go, and travel safely. There's all sorts of things out there. Not all of them are as nice as I am.
