For those who would like a professional, if 12th Century, source of councel in matters of grief, personal loss or simply someone with training and experience in mediating difficult or personal matters to speak to I have opened the bakery in the North Village as both it's functional purpose and a neutral space to speak of such things.

People are also free to use it as a meeting place for groups of such discussions. I will happily vacate or mediate as requested.

Bread will be made daily, and anyone wishing to learn is welcome.

If someone can find some nuts, I will make baklava.

As a point of less awkward discussion: Has anyone here fought and killed what most would consider a spirit or god before?

Would you enjoy things that make your entire career obsolete? Or take away the livelihoods of dozens of families you had once oathed to protect? Some of the advances made are wonderful and useful, others give my heart such sadness as to drive me to despair.

I grew up in a war, I know how easily they start.

This place did and I realized I was just whining about it so I figured out something else while we're here. So been there. Not to mention knowing the lives saved by the communication we have, but that's just from a soldiers standpoint.

Not trying to attack your livelihood, just not use to time travel or whatever the hell the shit this place does is so not used to people that don't know what an emoji is >.<

Being kidnapped to different worlds tends to take one out of their lives and force them in to a new one.

From a different soldier's standpoint, the 21st century is rather poor at communicating effectively for all the technological advances in speed and reach.
