Oh. Eh, probably not? The aliens you described sound intelligent. Monsters aren't intelligent. They're strong, mean, and hungry, bu they're not intelligent.

Alright I take that back some can be pretty clever for MONSTERS. Like Ruby Dragons will cast reflect on themselves if you start using magic on them. But not space-faring intelligent.

Well we didn't have dragons so... Still, that's pretty messed up. Your world just needs a lot of help. If I get back home alive, I'll see if we can't find it and, I don't know, carpet bomb the lunar surface.

It could well take a few decades to find your world. Maybe some lost colony actually. There were colony ships sent out in the early days that no one ever heard from again.
