You help people here, you listen to the stories of people from a different life than you and you try to remember when you go home so you can do better.

I will feel bad if I do go. And yet I want to be home. I know my friends will manage without me, but my sins will never be dealt with here. I can't heal this planet to make up for what i did to that one.

Time, care, development of new and efficient energy sources for power, but not everywhere can run on hydroelectric or solar power or the like.

Huh... I don't really know what either of those are. Don't think we have them in my world.

Power from water flowing, as I expect happens here, or power from the sun. If you don't have electricity you're likely only to use something like a mill for mechanical power, like grinding flour.
