Checking in for our latest round of forced vacations. I'm with 7. We're both OK. We're in some kind of swamp. No idea where in relation to the village. We've got a creepy note here, apparently we're hunting snakes if we want to get home.

More than a little worried about why we're going to so urgently need stuff good for fighting paranoia and nightmares if the town records were right.

Listen, I'm friends with the guy who lost his wrist band a while back. Goes by Seifer or Almasy. I'm going to monitor this to watch for news of him, but if you hear about it, let me know, okay?

And now that you mention it, I'm worried too. This is asking for skin, not venom, which is what we used when everybody was sick.

I guess the good news is that if you get bit, the goldbells Hawke and I bring back should help with the delusions.

But don't get bit. Rinoa's told me some about how those fevers were. Having that happen when so many people are away isn't a good thing at all.

I remember. Alex is apparently going to give us a tutorial, so at least we have expert advice. Do you guys have winter gear up there?

Have my warmest clothes on, and the bag had great winter gloves, caps and wool socks. The sleeping bags seem to be reasonable quality. So yeah, we'll be pretty good.

Mostly I'm just annoyed because I'm tired of being the tropics guy dropped into cold areas.

Better than last time, then. And trust me, as the Vermont girl in the middle of a swamp, I would trade with you in a second.

Sorry, I still forget sometimes. It's Northern. Colder. There's swamps but they call them bogs.

And our keepers sure have a bit of an obsession with you guys. Oh well. No one is perfect. If you can help me keep an eye out for Seifer, I'd appreciate it.
