Hello everyone, this is Foggy with some questions of an adult nature for th adults of this community. Would those who are under the age of majority in their home please not continue on here, or do so aware that this is adult in nature.

Right, now that it's just us...

I have some questions about sexual health and this place. We come from a variety of worlds and times, and that means a variety of possible diseases and the ever possible pregnancy from the right sorts of activities.

Has anyone gathered information about STDs and this place? There's not a lot in the way of medicine, so it's something we need to keep on top of, especially with people coming and going with no warning.

And pregnancy. Is there some sort of protection people are using? Are we being safe, people?

We're adults. I know we're having sex. But we need to make sure everyone's safe and frankly, that we're not having babies in this place.

I'm working on the theory that it's some attempt to keep us from becoming an invasive species.

Of course, not bringing us here in the first place would have been the better ounce of prevention versus this pound of cure.

The idea that we're someone's post-grad thesis project in interdimensional psychology is a thought that's going to keep me up tonight.

Zoology & Environmental studies, eventually specializing in herpetology. I don't put the "Dr." on my network handle, lest people get the idea I'm even remotely equipped to deal with human patients.

If I had a sterile environment to do it in, I probably could. But I probably learned more about field medicine from my mother than during my academic career. The family business is a little unorthodox.

I'm the only one who went so specialized. And the only one of my siblings to go about it as formally. You could say we're ecologisits, but most of the things, and sometimes people we protect don't exist as far as traditional science is concerned.

Which is a long and fancy way of trying to make "cryptozoology" sound less like kooky fringe science and more like the field it really is.

I try not to assume too much. And there was the risk there are some evil band of crytpozoologists in your world sullying the profession more than the usual Weekly World News stories.

Which are mostly written by cryptids, if you were wondering.
